Your station in life was no concern of hers… cowboys and hunters to congressmen and in-laws were welcomed with warmth and grace and some of the best meals around. A woman of remarkable strength, Bonnie’s love for her family was boundless.
She was especially devoted to her children and grandchildren, all of whom knew her as “Mom-o,” a name that captured her nurturing heart and endless capacity to give love. Bonnie was a crack shot, loved a good mule deer hunt and could play a mean game of Pitch. Whether she was cooking for her cowboys or just sitting on the porch with a cold Coors Light watching the sun set and the stars appear over the West Texas horizon, Bonnie’s joy for life was infectious. She had the rare gift of making everyone around her feel like family, and no one ever left her company without a smile on their face.
