Nancy Kramer
Nancy Kramer
Nancy is survived by her two children, Richard and his wife Toby, and her daughter Celeste. And her four grandchildren, Caiden, Camdyn, Kylie, and Mahalie.
Nancy’s greatest joy in life came from watching her children participate in multiple school events of which she never missed a single event. And later in life, to see the sparkle in her eye, all you needed to do was ask her about her grandchildren. She would talk about their stock shows, their basketball games, their football games, their track meets. And she would beam with pride over every word she told you. Nancy loved Elvis. In one of her most memorable times was a trip to Nashville with her sister’s Johnnie and Betty. She got to see Graceland, she got to go to Sun Records in Memphis, and she enjoyed all that Music City had to offer. She would have told you the trip of her lifetime was a destination wedding in Ireland again, where she travelled with her sisters Johnnie and Betty and had the time of her life. Even learning to drive them on the wrong side of the road with a stick shift.
Nancy worked for 39 years at Mason Bank and considered the lifelong friendships that she made there to be extended members of her family. Nancy leaves a legacy of faith, family, loyalty, and hard work. Nancy also shared her perseverance, determination, and ability to never give up with her children and grandchildren and all those who loved her. To be loved by Nancy was one of the greatest gifts you could ever receive because she would be in your corner and stand by your side through thick and thin. Nancy was continually active in her church, serving on many committees and teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School over several decades of her life.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents. Her brother Gene. Her sister Johnnie. Brother-in-laws and sisters-in-law. And the one that truly broke her heart? Her husband, Charles.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and appreciation to Menard Manor and West Texas Rehab for the excellent care and services provided not only to Nancy, but to her family as well. One of Nancy’s favorite sayings was faith, hope and love. And the greatest of these is love. And we thank you all for your love during this time.
