Born in Liberty Hill, Tx to Johnnie Lloyd and Mary Lucille Barker, whom were blessed with 9 children. Ron married Ruthie Poncik and would have celebrated their 56th anniversary in March. They had children Ronnie, Christy, Matthew and baby Shannon. Ron served bravely in Vietnam and received the Purple Heart. He then worked for 30+ years for LCRA in Austin. They raised their kids in the Leander/Cedar Park area and then later moved to Llano in 1998. Along the way he built 2 houses, planted many gardens, and loved and was loved by his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The family will hold a small ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers please hug a loved one and embrace life.
