EUNICE ELIZABETH EVANS (1938-2024)

Beth was born in Blanco in 1938 to Ray and Lela Evans. Beth grew up and graduated from Blanco High School in 1956 before marrying Tommy Anderson at the Blanco Baptist Church on Aug. 3, 1956. They moved to Austin after their marriage. Beth had an amazing work ethic and worked for Southwestern Bell and the Internal Revenue Service. She made many close friends and received many outstanding achievement awards. In 1965, the family moved to Cedar Valley, Texas and attended the Fitzhugh Baptist Church, where she raised her children and taught Sunday school. The family moved back home to Blanco in 1978 to be closer to her mom and immediately returned to her home church. Beth worked for Blanco State Park for 22 years, along with one of her best friends, Kenneth Moore.
Beth was a very loving and devoted mother to Shane Anderson, Shari Finch and Melissa Hitchcock and had six grandkids and eight great-grandkids, who she adored. She was a dedicated/devoted Christian, an amazing seamstress, and an avid reader of all books (especially the Bible).
Beth was preceded in death by her beloved father Ray Evans, mother Lela Evans, brother Bud Evans, sister Judy Evans, brother Roger Evans, Mushy Evans and grandson Cody Finch.
She is survived by Shane Anderson, Linda Anderson, Kaleigh Pruett, Sean Pruett, Weston Pruett, Audrey Pruett; Shari Finch, Joey Finch, Tell Finch, Sara Finch, Rains Finch, Skylar Finch; Wyatt Finch, Ashley Finch, Creed Finch, Stetson Finch, Steele Finch and Teagann Finch; and Melissa Hitchcock, Mike Hitchcock, Hadyn Hitchcock and Havana Hitchcock. As well as her nieces Dene Bertram, Sandy McDonough, Madison Jordon, Mary Nyland, Dianne Iosue, and nephews Bart Evans, Darrin Oliver, Ethan Evans, Daryl Ramm, David Ramm, Heath McDonough, Caimen McDonough, and sister-in-law Jane Ramm, Wallace Ramm (deceased), and many others she considered family whom she loved very dearly.
A celebration of life service will be held on Jan. 11 at 1:30 p.m. at the Blanco First Baptist Church, at 1200 4th St, Blanco, TX 78606. Refreshments will be provided after the service.
