Granny, as she was known to the many knew and loved her, passed away peacefully in the Menard Manor Nursing Home. Granny loved her ___________________________ loved to go watch her kids and grandkids rodeo and rope more than anything. Fishing was high on her list of joys… anything on the river was a good day for her.
She was a ranchers wife and help mate her entire life. She took great joy in helping in all things ranch of otherwise.
She was a member of Episcopal church at Fort McKavett, Fort McKavett Fire Department, Friends of Fort McKavett, Fort McKavett Cemetery Association, Menard Country Club, Sul Ross Alumni, Daughters of Republic of Texas, and Order of Eastern Star of Fort McKavett.
Litane is preceded in death by husband Nook Kothmann, son Karl Kinney Kothmann, parents Tillman and Olga Landers, son – in - law Joe Tom White.
Litane is survived by son Brooks (Teresa) Walker of Fredonia, Dana (Charlie) Grosse of Mason, Marsha Harrell of Sonora, Karla White of Menard, Mike (Rosa) Calcote of Eldorado, 19 grandchildren, 16 great -grandchildren, and 2 great – great - grandchildren with one on the way.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Heritage Funeral Home of Menard.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Fort McKavett Cemetery with ________________________ Pallbearers will be Clint Walker, Travis Walker, Sam Walker, Howard Grosse, Kinney Harrell, Kip Harrell, Joe Bob White, Kasey White, Tee Jay White, Dusty Kothmann, Jon Kade Calcote, Hawkins Allen.
Honorary pallbearers will be Nancy Jo Saller, Keli K Frizzill, Ginny Litane White, Jessie Calcote, Kacie Kothmann, Elizabeth Ramon, Shelby Allen.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Menard.
