Gretschen Grosch finished third in the 400 meter dash to lead the Blanco competitors at the Region 1 track and field meet last week.
Grosch finished third in the 400 meter dash in 58.49. She also finished sixth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.59.
Also for the Blanco girls, Sidney Johnson finished seventh in the triple jump at 35-9 and 14th in the long jump at 15-3.25.
Brodrick Siwecki finished sixth in the boys 100 meter dash with a time of 11.32. The Blanco boys 4x100 meter relay team finished ninth in 43.23. Relay team members were Jacob Johnson, Siwecki, Hank Jones and Cody Waltrip.
