The Ramblin’ Rose was filled with sparkling generosity on Saturday, February 8, as the Denim and Diamonds Benefit Ball raised $65,000 for the Boys and Girls Club of Llano. The evening featured a live auction with nearly $8,000 in items, a silent raffle, and music from Triple Shot. Guests enjoyed dinner from Inman’s BBQ, spirited bidding, and dancing, all in support of local youth.
The event’s fundraising success was boosted by 17 Diamond Millennium Sponsors, each contributing $1,500 to sponsor a child for a year, along with six Millennium Sponsors at $1,000 each. The auction and raffle brought in $20,000, with a $25,000 matching grant from Create Healthy pushing the total higher.
Club Director Sarah McDaniel expressed gratitude for the community’s generosity, calling the event a tremendous success. Funds will support after-school care, mentorship, and programs that provide a safe and enriching environment for Llano’s youth.
