Blanco Panthers prowl against Buffalo, Jackets

The Blanco boys basketball team won two District 5-3A games last week to move to 2-1 in district games.

The Panthers (14-7, 2-1) topped the Florence Buffalo 39-24 last Tuesday, and then beat the Llano Jackets 45-31 last Friday,.

Blanco, Brady, Ingram and Comfort are all 2-1 in district games. Llano is 1-2 and Florence is 0-3 in district.

Due to icy road conditions the game scheduled at Ingram on Tuesday is rescheduled for Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. Blanco travels to Comfort this Friday, and hosts Brady on Jan. 28.

Statistics were unavailable at press time.
