Shires named first team all-state in volleyball
Tylee Shires, a Blanco senior, was named first team all-state outside hitter on the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 3A allstate volleyball team. Shires hit 597 kills, served 39 aces, made 46 blocks and had 420 digs. Shires is pictured above speaking at her signing to play beach volleyball at the University of Arizona and also pictured at right serving in the Lady Panthers’ bi-district win against Clyde.
