At 6:12 Pm, Llano County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call with regards to multiple shots being fired outside the residence at 2554 Skyline Drive in Kingsland Texas. The female caller stated that she had locked herself in the residence with her four-year old daughter. The caller believed that her friend my have possibly been shot by her ex-boyfriend, Jon Deron Kendrick.

The first Deputy arrived on scene at approximately 6:17 Pm and immediately heard two-gun shots coming from the front yard of the residence. The Deputy was unable to see any movement in the yard due to trees in the yard, and it being dark outside.
