Horseshoe Bay’s POA Fall Fest and Chili Cook-Off on October 17 was a resounding success, bringing the community together for an evening filled with delicious chili, live music and fun for all ages.
Hiis year saw a record-breaking 11 chili cookers, the highest number to date, ensuring plenty of mouth-watering chili for everyone. The Highland Lakes VFW took home the coveted “Best Chili” award for their outstanding recipe, which wowed both the judges and attendees. Unlike in previous years, there was no shortage of chili, ensuring every guest had a chance to taste and enjoy the culinary competition.
Inside Quail Point Lodge, the Market Place vendors showcased a fantastic variety of goods, including wellpriced art, custom creations, clothing and hand-made items that were as gorgeous as they were unique. Attendees enjoyed perusing the local vendors’ wares and picking up one-of-a-kind finds, adding to the charm and community spirit of the event. Wine lovers delighted in the offerings from Perissos Vineyard, while Save the World Brewing provided a great selection of local beer for festival-goers. The night was capped off with a fantastic live performance by the Ricky Adams Band. Their lively country tunes got the crowd dancing, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration.
The event was a memorable success with Quail Point Lodge decked out in fall décor and perfect weather for an outdoor festival. The Horseshoe Bay Property Owners’Association extends a big thank you to everyone who participated and made the night possible. We look forward to another fantastic Fall Fest next year!
