Trick-or-treating in Horseshoe Bay will take place on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Families are invited to join the group in Horseshoe Bay Proper (please see the map at the right).
To ensure a great experience for everyone, residents who wish to participate in handing out treats are encouraged to: - Display an orange ribbon in the front of your home, or anything else that clearly indicates that you’re open for Halloween visitors.
- Leave your porch light on: In addition to the orange ribbon, keeping outdoor lights on is a traditional sign that your home is offering treats. This helps guide trick-or-treaters to participating houses.
For trick-or-treaters:
• If you wish to go with the group: It will be meeting at 317 Short Circuit. The group typically only has time to trick-or-treat the streets highlighted on the map.
• Be respectful: Please only visit homes that have an orange ribbon and their lights on, and be mindful of property boundaries.
• Be safe: Horseshoe Bay is a dark community and after sunset, it becomes very hard for cars to see little trick-or-treaters so exercise caution when crossing and walking in the street.
We look forward to celebrating Halloween with the community! Let’s make this year a safe and fun night for everyone.
