Junior High Cross Country Wins Three of the Four District Championship Team Titles

On October 9th the Junior High Cross Country teams competed for District individual and Team titles. The 7th Grade Girls, 8th Grade Girls and 8th Grade Boys all finished as Team Champions. The 7th Grade Boys came in 2nd place. The four teams competed against Goldthwaite, Harper, San Saba, Junction, Center Point, Hunt and Johnson City. The individual top 10 finishers are as follows: 7th Grade Girls: Olivia Langehennig 4th, Landyn Smith 6th, Harlow Buell 7th, Cali Bierschwale 8th, Emersyn Boyd 9th, Olivia Velez 10th 8th Grade Girls: Savannah Yates 2nd, Everly Rabon 4th, Georgia Hicks 5th, Abby Munsell 9th 7th Grade Boys: Isaac Mora 1st, Francisco Suarez-Ramirez 6th 8th Grade Boys: Jarrett Worrell 1st, Jaxon Price 5th, Sam Wyatt 7th, Tony Martin 8th Additional individuals who ran the race and were a big part of the Team’s success are Dreese Thomas, Addison Hernandez, Kiera McCrea, Emerson Contrucci (7th Girls); Elizabeth Whitworth, Parker Bownds, Lily Jackson (8th Girls); Holt Grote, Sterling Asbill, Kyson Barnett, Tyson Crocker (7th Boys); Sergio Quintero, Corbyn Neece and Ayo Jegede (8th Boys).
